How to Purchase a Virtual Permit in the Transportation Portal

Instructions

For students and faculty/staff

  1. Go to https://aztecs.t2hosted.com/Account/Portal using Microsoft Edge or Mozilla Firefox.
  2. Click LOGIN in the upper right-hand corner.t2-1
  3. If you are a student or faculty/staff member, click on SDSUid Login.t2-2
  4. Enter/verify your SDSU email address. Click Next.t2-3
  5. Enter your SDSUid password. Click Sign in.t2-4
  6. If you would like to automatically stay signed in under your SDSU user ID, check the box and click Yes. If not, leave the box unchecked and click No.t2-5
  7. If you need to add any vehicles to your account, click VEHICLES. If not, skip to Step 11.t2-13
  8. Click Add Vehicle.
  9. Enter your vehicle information. If you've added a temporary license plate, remember to complete the License Plate Change Request Form once your permanent plate has been issued. If the vehicle added is a rental, please email [email protected] to provide us with a date in which you'd like the vehicle removed from your account. Click Next.t2-10
  10. Your vehicle will appear on your account. To add additional vehicles, follow steps 7-9.t2-15
  11. Next, click PERMITS, and then click Get Perimts to purchase a permit.t2-6
  12. Click Next.t2-16
  13. Select the bubble next to the permit you would like to purchase. Check the boxes agreeing to the terms. Click Next.t2-17
  14. If you are purchasing a daily, weekly or monthly permit, select the date you would like the permit to start. Do not select an end date. Click Next.t2-18
  15. Check the box(es) for any vehicles you wish to add to the permit. Click Next.t2-19
  16. If additional permit(s) are needed, complete steps 11-15.
  17. Review your cart and email address that you would like your receipt sent to. Click Pay Now.t2-20
  18. Your permit number and total will be displayed again. Click Checkout.t2-21
  19. Select your Method of Payment. Click Continue Checkout. For electronic checks, skip to step 22. t2-22
  20. Fill in al required fields. Click Pay Now.t2-23
  21. Review your payment information. Click Pay Now.t2-24
  22. [For electronic checks] Fill in all required fields. Click Continue Checkout.t2-25
  23. [For electronic checks] Check I agree and click Submit Payment.t2-26
  24. You will see a receipt when the payment was successful. You will also receive a confirmation email.t2-27
  25. To ensure the permit is in your account and linked to your vehicle(s), click Permits and then View Your Permits.t2-6
  26. The permit number should be listed. Click on the permit number.t2-7
  27. You should see the vehicles linked to your permit.

For visitors

  1. Go to https://aztecs.t2hosted.com/Account/Portal using Microsoft Edge or Mozilla Firefox.
  2. Click on SIGNUP.t2-28
  3. Enter the information requested. Passwords must be 9-20 characters and contain at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one numeric value and one special character. Click Create Account.t2-29
  4. After successfully creating your account, click Proceed to log in to your new account.t2-30
  5. Enter your email address and password that you created. Click Log In.t2-31
  6. Click VEHICLES in the upper left corner.t2-13
  7. Click Add Vehicle.t2-14
  8. Enter your vehicle information. If you've added a temporary license plate, remember to complete the License Plate Change Request Form once your permanent plate has been issued.
