How to Pay & Remove a Barnacle

Instructions
Paying Online
- Go to web pay.barnacleparking.com.
- Enter the device number as displayed on the Barnacle. Press Next.
- Enter your mobile number. Press Next.
- You will receive a text message with a one-time 3-digit verification code.
- Enter the 3-digit verification number. Press Next.
- Enter your payment information using a debit or credit card. To release the Barnacle, you must pay the amount owed. Press Pay.
- Once your payment has processed, you will receive two text messages.
- You will receive a text of your Barnacle Release Receipt which can be accessed, saved or printed using the URL link provided.
- You will receive a text message with your 4-digit release code.
- Enter the 4-digit release code using the keypad located on the Barnacle.
- Press Enter three times.
- The Barnacle device will display the following message: "Disarming device may take 30 seconds to fully detach."
- Remove the Barnacle device by gently pulling it off the windshield and folding it so the yellow parts are facing out. There is a handle for carrying the device.
- There is a non-refundable $150 boot application fee. There is also a $300 deposit that is required to release the device. This deposit is refunded once the Barnacle device is returned. You can return the Barnacle at any one of the Barnacle drop box locations. Failure to return the device to a drop-off box will forfeit the deposit return.
Paying by Phone
- Call 1-833-623-1445 listed on the device.
- Enter the device number as displayed on the Barnacle.
- Use a debit or credit card to pay the fees and equipment deposit.
- Once you've paid, you will be given a 4-digit code which can immediately unlock the device.
- Enter the code on the keypad and press Enter. The device may take 30 seconds to fully detach.
- Remove the Barnacle by gently pulling it off the windshield and folding it so the yellow parts are facing out. There is a handle for carrying the device.
